FTP Server Requirements

Hardware

Synergis does not have specific hardware requirements for using FTP Servers. Please consult the documentation for the FTP server software you intend to utilize.

Software

FTP software is required only for existing systems with FTP Vaults. New customers and existing customers are strongly encouraged to use AFS vaults.
If you plan to use FTP Vaults, you must run an FTP Server on each network where a Vault is located.

Supported FTP server software may be installed on any compatible operating system that the manufacturer allows. The latest service packs and hotfixes must be installed.

Supports Adept's compressed FTP Vaults and file transfer.

Supports Adept’s secure FTPS Vaults and file transfer.
