Supported Database Engines may be installed on any compatible operating system that the manufacturer allows. The latest service packs and hotfixes must be installed. SQL Express is supported in small or local area network deployments, provided the database size does not exceed the manufacturer's 10 GB database limit. Be aware that the database size grows over time; if you choose SQL Express today, you may be required to upgrade to Microsoft SQL to avoid that database limit. | |
