Resolved Issues - Adept Mobile

The Adept WINTER '25 (11.4.0) release has resolved the Adept Mobile issues mentioned below. The Issue Key is the internal identification used by Synergis team members.

AM-1039

Fixed an issue where users were randomly logged out even when SSO was enabled. Session handling now works as intended.

When users attempt to save unsupported files, the app now displays an appropriate error message and restricts further actions.

Fixed an issue where shared document links from Adept Mobile failed to open in a browser due to DNS resolution errors. Links now consistently open the Adept Web Client.

AM-1224

The “Sync” icon now appears for marked-up files in Offline Mode to indicate pending uploads. This confirms that changes will sync once connectivity is restored.

Fixed an issue where the “View” option appeared disabled but was still clickable for OUT status or unlinked files not owned by the user in Adept Mobile (Android). The button is now correctly disabled and unresponsive as expected.

Fixed an issue where the “Download & Markup” option appeared disabled but was still clickable for already-downloaded OUT files not owned by the user in Adept Mobile (Android). The control is now correctly disabled and unresponsive as expected.

AM-1233

Fixed an issue where “Save to Device → Replace” did not consistently overwrite marked-up files. The Replace action now updates Recent, Downloads, and the local file with the latest version.

Fixed an issue where viewing a document offline from the Recent tab without saving it first displayed misleading messages. The app now shows only the correct “Internet is not available” message.

Fixed an issue where the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service screens appeared blank on iPad devices due to a caching problem after a project upgrade. All legal documents now display correctly.

Fixed an issue where the “Download & Markup” option appeared enabled but was non-functional for files with Versioned status. This option is now correctly disabled for historical, read-only files.

Fixed an issue where “Save to Device” and “Download & Markup” actions were incorrectly enabled and functional for files in Hold/AssignHold status.

AM-1259

Fixed an issue where the “Download and Markup” button was incorrectly shown as disabled for files checked out to the logged-in user in the Inbox-Out screen. The option is now correctly enabled and functions as expected.

AM-1260

Fixed an issue where the app became unresponsive with a stuck loader after displaying an error when a user without view rights attempted to open a Hold status file. The loader now dismisses immediately, keeping the app responsive.

AM-1262

Fixed an issue where users without view rights saw inconsistent error messages and an indefinite loader when attempting to view files in Hold or AssignHold status. Error messaging is now clear and consistent, and the loader dismisses immediately to keep the app responsive.

AM-1268

Fixed an issue where the “Download & Markup” option was incorrectly disabled for files in the Inbox → Out tab on iOS devices. The option is now enabled and functions as expected.
