Issue Description

ADV-9016

Fixed an issue where the Measure tool defaulted to millimeters for 3D documents (for example, SLDPRT, IPT, STEP, JT), ignoring the document’s native unit system and resulting in incorrect values. The Measure tool now correctly reads and applies the document’s native units for all 3D file types, consistent with existing 2D (DWG/DGN) behavior.

ADV-8955

The MongoDB component in the Adept Viewer has been updated to address CVE‑2025‑14847.

ADV-8608

Fixed an issue that prevented full formatting control for Signoff markups. Version 11.4.5 restores line style, line weight, line color, fill color, and text formatting for both newly created Signoff markups and existing markups carried over from earlier versions.

ADV-8559

Fixed an issue where measurement units displayed as “pm” after a unit change was undone. Measurement units now correctly revert to their original values when using Undo.

ADV-8388

Fixed an issue where the Publish PDF dialog did not appear when using the View Only view. Publish PDF now works correctly for all document types in the View Only ViewFrame.

ADV-8300

Improved calibration measurements so they now display tooltip details showing who created or last edited the measurement and when. This makes it easier to track measurement history in shared documents.

ADV-8024

Fixed an issue where incorrect markup rendering caused some PDF markups to be dropped during print and publish operations. Markup handling has been improved, so Adept‑created and third‑party markups now render correctly in all output. A new optional configuration setting (WAIT_FOR_RENDER_MARKUP_TIMEOUT in system-config.json) has been introduced, allowing administrators to fine-tune the rendering wait time if needed for large or complex markup sets.

ADV-7936

Fixed an issue where the Fill Color selector did not reflect the actual color applied to a markup. The color picker now correctly displays the selected fill color in both the toolbar and the markup.

ADV-7642

Fixed an issue where the Markups Panel displayed sheet groupings in alphabetical order instead of matching the sheet order shown in the Content Panel for DWG and DGN documents. Markup groupings now follow the same sheet sequence as the Content Panel, making markups easier to locate across multi‑sheet drawings.

ADV-7520

Fixed an issue where publishing a PDF from certain SOLIDWORKS assembly documents added an extra blank page at the end of the file. The PDF output now includes only the expected pages.

ADV-7223

Fixed an issue where publishing or rendering certain multi‑sheet SLDDRW files produced a single blank PDF page. PDF output now correctly generates a page for each sheet with all drawing content displayed.

ADV-6446

Resolved an issue where holding the Shift key while adding a Highlight markup did not constrain the shape to a square for certain document types. The Shift key now correctly enforces square highlights across all supported formats, including DOCX, PDF, IDW, and SLDDRW.

A11-4262

Fixed IDW viewing and PDF output support for Inventor 2026 by requiring a standalone Inventor Apprentice Server 2026 installation alongside Inventor 2026. Backward compatibility with IDW files from Inventor 2024, 2025, and earlier versions is fully preserved. Customers should contact Adept Product Support for further assistance.
