Resolved Issues - Adept Clients and Servers

The Adept Spring '26 (11.4.5) release has resolved the Adept Client or Server issues mentioned below. The Issue Key is the internal identification used by Synergis team members.

Issue Key

Issue Description

A11-4218

Deprecated support for legacy .prt, .asm, and .drw file extensions in the SOLIDWORKS Extract plugin, which were supported in the previous integration.

A11-4132

Fixed an issue where the AutoCAD task pane command labeled “Open for Edit” was confusing due to differing behavior from the SOLIDWORKS command of the same name. The AutoCAD command has been renamed to “Open Reference for Edit” to better reflect its function; command behavior is unchanged.

A11-4113

Fixed an issue where the Adept Task Pane Work Area appeared empty when only one Work Area existed. The Work Area is now automatically selected, eliminating the need to manually select it to view its contents.

A11-4101

Fixed an issue where Refresh Full Text Search Indices ran very slowly or failed to complete on large libraries, particularly those with many DWG files. Improvements to the DWG indexing and extraction components enhance stability and performance during reindexing.

A11-3774

Fixed unhandled exceptions during refresh token removal and related operations by improving exception handling and resource cleanup, preventing expected conditions from being logged as errors in the Windows Event Log.

A11-3726

Improved performance when copying or checking out large files to Shared Work Areas from the Adept Desktop Client. Previously, these operations could be significantly slower than transfers to local work areas, leading to timeouts or canceled operations.
